DAY 26 - April 16 - MUSLIM INFLUENCERS

April 15, 2023

Canada's media and arts scenes are salted with Muslim millennials (age 27-42) and Gen Zs (age 11- 26) who are very skilled in telling their own stories. They regularly protest, "Islam is not a monolith". They don't want to be seen the way Muslims were stereotyped in the wake of 911. They want to be seen for who they are.

  • Pray Christians will recognize and repent of stereotypes and unhelpful filters concerning Muslims and choose instead to see them through the eyes of Jesus.
  • Pray we’ll be good listeners, both to Muslims and to the Holy Spirit, as we interact with them.
  • Thank God for entrusting His message of reconciliation to us and pray we would be faithful ambassadors for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
