Day 18 (March 27) - FACTOR 3 – THE BIBLE IN HEART LANGUAGE

March 27, 2024

FACTORS important to the journey of Muslims who chose to follow Jesus Christ after coming here. *

Most Muslims grew up speaking a language other than English. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Scripture must be understood for it to penetrate to the soul and spirit. Does your church offer Bibles in the heart languages spoken by your neighbors? Some translations include side-by-side English.

Pray that every Muslim in Canada would have access to God’s Word in the language they hear in their heart. Pray for your church to make Scripture available in the heart languages of your neighbours. (Psalms 22:9, 131; Mark 12:33)

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
