Day 26 (April 4) - PROTESTERS

April 4, 2024

Hamas’ savage attack on Israel on October 7 stirred up Islamic zeal among many Muslims. Pro-Palestinian protests and antisemitic acts fed bysocial media immediately erupted around the world, including in Canada, drawing attention, especially of younger generations attracted to causes, to Islam. An environment has developed where it seems Islam is on the rise.

Pray for believers to keep our eyes focussed on Jesus,“author and perfector of our faith”(Hebrews 12:2-3), and who is already established as King on “Zion’s holy hill” (Psalm 2).Pray for well intentioned but naïve people to tire of folly and seek wisdom (Proverbs 1:20-32). Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide internet searches to sources that speak truth and for productive conversations that point to the One who is “the Way and the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6).
