Day 27 (April 5) - LAYLAT AL-QADR (NIGHT OF POWER)

April 5, 2024

Muslims believe the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Muhammad on this night and that itis the only night when sins can be forgiven and prayers answered. They pray for mercy, forgiveness, and salvation. Some stay awake praying all night.

Pray that, on this night, Muslims would have a supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ, the only one who can forgive sin and save them. Pray they would comprehend mercy as freely given and received by faith, not earned. Ask God to follow up this experience with encounters with Christians who can tell them the Good News. (Acts 2:17-21, 38-41, 4:12)

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
