Day 29 (April 7) - QUESTIONING

April 7, 2024

Learning, questioning, and debating threaten the unity and stability of the Muslim community. Some Muslims who choose to explore freely may find themselves at odds with their leaders. Some choose to reject much of what they have been taught about core Islamic values and beliefs, while others filter out information that contradicts their worldview.

Pray that Muslims of all ages would develop curiosity and boldness to learn, to doubt, to question and to discover what is true and real. Pray for Islamic teachers be provoked by their consciences to seek the testimony that God gave us about His son: “that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12). Pray that those who reject Islam do not choose atheism, but instead seek the One “who fills everything in every way” (Ephesians 1:23).

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
