But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. (Galatians 4:4-7)
Islam considers Ishmael a son of Abraham, a patriarch, and ancestor of their prophet. The Bible identifies him as the son of the slave, Hagar (Genesis 21:10, Galatians 4:24-25), destined for strife (Genesis 16:11-12).
- Rejoice! We have inherited sonship through Christ! Approach Abba as His precious child.
- Watch and listen to Song for Ishmael. Ishmael means “God hears”.
- Beseech the Father to hear and answer the Muslim cry for assurance of the Father’s love.
