WEEK TWO:  COME TO HIS SON

“He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all…I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”  (John 3:31, 16:28)

And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.  (Colossians 1:17)

Islam says Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, received the contents of a book, the Qur’an, from heaven. He was of the earth, spoke in an earthly way and returned to the earth. Not so the Son.

  • Agree with Jesus’ declaration that He is above all. Make your praises glorious!
  • Ask the Spirit to lift the eyes of Muslims from the things of earth to see the exalted Jesus, hear His life-altering words, and receive a revelatory upgrade in their hearts in how God reveals Himself to humans. “May the things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”
  • Rejoice that in our time God is exchanging dust for glory across the Islamic world.

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
