WEEK THREE:  COME TO HIS WORD

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.” (Isaiah 19:23-25)

Watch The Isaiah 19 Highway of Hope. Animosities and upheavals in the Middle East have spilled over into Canada in many ways, proving that world events are our concern. The words of the Old Testament Hebrew prophets continue to speak with relevance today.

  • Confirm in your heart that the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil and bring abundant life to the world. (1 John 3:8b, John 10:10)
  • Pray for Muslim seekers to find Al Massira, an “open place” to explore prophet stories from the Bible and think about life’s big questions, and discover that the prophets point to Jesus, who is above all.
  • Thank God He will fulfill this unique and profound “highway of hope” for Middle Eastern peoples.

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
