Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” And He said to them, “When you pray, say, “Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.” (Luke 11:1-2)
- As Muslims gather today to pray (men in the mosques and women usually at home), pray their hearts would yearn to know the God who knows them and wants to be known, who came down from heaven to reveal His nature to humankind, and who teaches with authority.
- Pray that as they seek God with all their hearts, their ritual prayers would be interrupted by revelations of Jesus teaching them to pray and inviting them to seek Him in His written word.
