“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, may be with Me where I am, to see My glory that You have given Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”  (John 17:24)

"You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore".  (Psalm 16:11)

"He brought me to the banqueting house, and His banner over me was love".  (Song of Solomon 2:4)

The reward for sufficiently pleasing Islam’s god is a paradise abounding in worldly pleasures previously denied on earth. The prize for trusting Jesus is living in God’s glorious presence, on earth and in the afterlife.

  • Extol the beauty, inclusiveness, and power of love. Love never ends. (1 Corinthians 13:8a)
  • Jesus has asked the Father that those who believe in Him because of His disciples’ testimony be with Him (John 17:20), and because of love, His request is granted. Add your amen to Jesus’ prayer.
  • Do you believe love is powerful enough to supplant a jihadist’s dedication to accomplishing God’s will through violence? On the cross, Jesus exalted radical love over violence. Declare that even this is possible with God and pray that Canada will be spared Islamist violence and influence through government prevention and intervention, responsibility courageously taken by the broader Muslim community to deal with its own radicals, and the fervent prayer and outreach of the Church.

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
