“You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.” (Deuteronomy 4:2)
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. (Revelation 22:17-21)
YHWH “desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4). His consistent invitation to “Come” is so profoundly gracious! Yet His command to neither add to nor take away from His word as written in the Bible is clear. The Qur’an and the Hadith are in clear violation of His will.
- On this final day of fasting, plead for mercy for Muslims held captive by the doctrines of Islam, a powerful, all-inclusive deception that robs them of the knowledge of God and the blessings and freedom that are the rightful inheritance of God’s children.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the person of Jesus Christ, God the Son, to those Muslims who are worshipping a God they know to be true but who haven’t yet made the connection between their longing and Jesus. Jesus will point them to the Father.
- Pray for Muslim families to seek, find, and follow Christ together so they may strengthen and encourage one another to secure their share in the tree of life and the holy city.
