Each month through Gateways of Grace: God at Work among Muslims in Canada’s Urban Mission Fields, we will spotlight a different Canadian city.
Across our urban centres, God has brought the nations to our neighborhoods, creating unprecedented opportunities to share the love of Jesus with Muslim friends from around the world who now call Canada home.
During each webinar, we’ll share insights from the latest Canadian Census, highlighting the growing number of Muslims across Canada and within the featured city, helping us better understand the communities God has entrusted to us.
You’ll also hear from frontline ministry practitioners serving Muslim communities and from former Muslims who have chosen to follow Christ.
This month we will feature VANCOUVER,BC.
SPEAKERS
Pastor "F"
Brother F, who pastors a small Christian community in the Metro Vancouver area, will share the inspiring story of a woman from a Uyghur Muslim background he befriended and journeyed alongside over many months. As she attended church, explored the Christian faith, and wrestled with difficult questions, their conversations opened the door for her to encounter the Gospel. Even through a season of silence and uncertainty, God continued to work in her life, ultimately leading her to place her trust in Jesus Christ as her Saviour and Lord.
You will also hear about Pastor F's interactions with an Iranian international student of Muslim background who experienced miraculous answers to prayer and eventually came to know Jesus personally.
Pastor Faheem
Pastor Faheem Moini was born and raised in a Muslim family in Iran, but his life was radically transformed when he encountered Jesus Christ after fleeing the country as a teenager. Rescued from darkness and brought into God's marvelous light, Pastor Faheem now passionately shares the hope of the gospel with others. As an Outreach Pastor and leader of M2M Ministry in Vancouver, he ministers to immigrants, persecuted refugees, and Muslims through evangelism, discipleship, advocacy, and practical support.
These stories remind us that God is at work among Muslims in Canada and that He invites us to join Him through simple friendship, meaningful hospitality, and faithful presence.
Come and be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to participate in what God is doing in Vancouver and beyond.
