Understanding Islam (7 week course)

Regardless of whether you have had little experience in ministering to Muslim friends, or if you have some background in this area, this is an excellent learning opportunity.

This is a 7 week interactive course, where we use respected Islamic sources to explore the beliefs and worldview of Muslims.

The course will be facilitated by Neighbors and Newcomers Network Edmonton.

1. The beginnings of Islam

2. Islamic views of Jews and Christians

3. What Muslims believe about Jesus

4. What Muslims believe and practice

5. A brief look at the Qur'an and how it was written

6. Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?

7. Proven tools in sharing your faith with Muslim friends

8. Serving the Refugee community in our Canadian cities

9. And More!

A packet of notes will be provided.
