LMT Webinar - Inspiring Testimonies

LMT & Partners Event

Date / March 31, 2022 (Thursday)

Location / Zoom / From: 8:00-9:30PM (EDT)

Come and hear an inspiring testimony of a former Muslim man who, as the first born son, had been chosen by his Grandfather to become an imam, but by God's grace, met Jesus and became a Pastor instead.

Pastor A. will share about his journey growing up in Ethiopia preparing from an early age to become an Islamic priest, of being introduced to the truth of God found in the Bible while attending a mosque and a church at the same time, encountering Jesus and his life in Kenya prior to moving to Canada.

He shares "One day, I was getting ready to leave the church to get to the mosque on time. The preacher was teaching about Jesus’ crucifixion. The message hit me so hard that I started to cry uncontrollably. I stayed to hear the whole message and was approached by the preacher afterwards. As we talked that day, I gave my life to Christ. Like Paul, I changed in one day and became a devoted Christ follower. I never went back to the mosque again."

We invite you to attend this ninety minute webinar, including Q&A and a time of prayer.

Monthly Prayer Focus
Mosque communities are often the target of hate and racism, but we are called to love. Perhaps the most loving thing we can do is to pray. Use this monthly blog to help inspire prayers of love and compassion for those who call your neighbourhood mosque their home.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
