LMT Webinar - Two Faiths, One Friendship
LMT & Partners Event
Date / January 18, 2024 (Thursday)
Location / Online / From 7-8:30 PM (EST)
"One of the most exciting developments in world missions today is the wide-open opportunity we have to share Christ with Muslim peoples who are making Canada home. These mushrooming numbers of immigrants are friendly, hospitable, spiritually-oriented, and anxious to make new friends. As Canadians we not only have “a wide door for effective work” (1 Cor. 16:9), we have creative models of ministry that are drawing former Muslims to the Saviour." (John Brown)
In this webinar John Brown will partner with several colleagues to share how God is working among Muslims in both English and French Canada. Together they will give ideas on how churches and individuals can naturally, lovingly and joyfully introduce their Muslim friends to Jesus.
John Brown has been involved with youth evangelism, church planting and international missions leadership for many years. John became Canadian Director of Africa Inland Mission in 1995 and later launched AIM’s Ministry to Africans in Canada. While still a member of AIM, in 2023 John was called as Executive Director of the African-Canadian mission Calvary Ministries (CAPRO). Both CAPRO and AIM prioritize bringing the Good News of salvation in Christ to Muslims and other unevangelized peoples.
We invite you to attend this ninety minute webinar, followed by a Q&A and time of prayer.
