Something incredible is happening within the Muslim world. Muslims abroad and in Canada are confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in an unprecedented way. "There are nine geo-cultural 'rooms' in the 'House of Islam,' and the Wind of God's Spirit is blowing through every one of them" (David Garrison, author of ‘A Wind in the House of Islam’).
From September 2024 until June of 2025 we will be exploring the presence of people from the ‘9 rooms’ in Canada—where they are, who’s ministering among them, and what we can learn as we engage with them. This month we will feature the room of North Africa.
You are invited to hear from Muslim ministry practitioners who are ministering to Muslims from the room of North Africa in different regions of Canada, and from those who left Islam and chose to follow Jesus. We hope that this will fuel our prayers and our hope as we continue to Love Muslims Together.
ABOUT THE WORKERS
Greg will be sharing how God is at work among North Africans in Montreal. Greg and Kristen work with refugees and immigrants from North Africa in the city of Montreal. Through language training, children ministry, and hospitality they foster relationships whereby they proclaim the love of Christ in word and deed. Greg also heads up Borderless Canada which has a vision to see formerly unreached peoples thriving and multiplying in churches across Canada.
Brother L will share how it was growing up in Algeria, a majority Muslim country, and how God drew him to Himself and brought him to "the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ." (II Corinthians 4:4) through the influence of a Christian friend at school.
You will also hear the testimony of a young woman from Morocco who left Islam to follow Jesus. She will share her journey from walking under condemnation through a system of works to earn God’s favor, to encountering hope, peace, salvation, and God’s everlasting love in Jesus.
