Event Description
We are living in unprecedented times where those of the Muslim faith all over the world and in Canada are choosing to leave Islam to follow Jesus.
To mobilize cross-cultural gospel ministries locally, CCCOWE Canada and the Loving Muslims Together Network have partnered to equip Chinese churches in Canada to reach our Muslim neighbours with the Gospel of Christ.
You are invited to hear an inspiring testimony of a former Muslim woman who found Jesus in her quest to find the truth. Our special guest will share her personal journey of coming from darkness into the light.
Born into a devout Muslim family in Iran, Kiana was deeply committed to Islam from a young age. But behind her religious devotion was a heart searching for hope, healing, and truth. After encountering the message of Jesus as a child, she began a quiet but life-changing journey of faith, one that would eventually cost her everything.
Choosing to follow Christ in a country where conversion is illegal led to persecution, repeated arrests, and ultimately fleeing her homeland as a refugee. Yet through every trial, God continued to shape her calling.
Now serving as a missionary in Canada, Kiana ministers to Farsi-speaking refugees and newcomers through House of Omeed, sharing the hope she once searched for herself.
Join us to hear her powerful story of courage, surrender, and the transforming love of Jesus, while also learning more about our Iranian neighbours and praying that their hearts would be open to receiving the saving gospel of Christ.
