Gateways of Grace: God at Work among Muslims in Canada’s Urban Mission Fields - Featuring HALIFAX, NS
LMT & Partners Event
Date / March 28, 2026 (Saturday)
Location / Online (Zoom) /From 7-9 pm (EST)

Each month through Gateways of Grace: God at Work among Muslims in Canada’s Urban Mission Fields, we will spotlight a different Canadian city.
Across our urban centres, God has brought the nations to our neighborhoods, creating unprecedented opportunities to share the love of Jesus with Muslim friends from around the world who now call Canada home.
During each webinar, we’ll share insights from the latest Canadian Census, highlighting the growing number of Muslims across Canada and within the featured city, helping us better understand the communities God has entrusted to us.
You’ll also hear from frontline ministry practitioners serving Muslim communities and from former Muslims who have chosen to follow Christ.
God is already at work among Muslims in Canada! Come discover how you can join Him through simple friendship, meaningful hospitality, and faithful presence.
This month we will feature Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The number of Muslims in Nova Scotia has almost doubled in the last decade, according to Statistics Canada. There were almost 15,000 Muslims in Nova Scotia in 2021, up from about 8,500 in 2011.
Join us to hear firsthand from workers in Halifax who are building relationships, serving with love and walking with Muslim friends in their journey to Jesus.
SPEAKERS
Sisters B and L, who live and serve in Halifax, will share powerful stories and practical insights from the front lines of ministry. With a heart for international students, they are responding to God’s call by opening their home in hospitality, building genuine friendships, and placing Bibles into the hands of those eager to explore the message of Jesus.
Brother J will reflect on the experience of a Muslim-background believer who isn’t presently walking with the Lord, highlighting the realities of ministry to Muslims, the vital role of prayer, and how the Church can faithfully walk alongside others in friendship and care.
Come be encouraged by how God is at work in Halifax, and discover simple, faithful ways you can do the same in your own community.
