FEATURED SPEAKERS
Sister Amanda

You are invited to hear an inspiring testimony of a former Muslim woman who found Jesus in her quest for the truth. Our special guest will share her personal journey of coming from darkness into the light.
Amanda was born in a Muslim country and raised in a very devout Muslim family. Her understanding of God growing up was of a powerful God who would one day judge and punish her for all her wrongdoings in life. Her devotion to Islam was such that as a young woman she volunteered to be a jihadist and kill and die for her faith. Eventually she left her home country and started questioning the Islamic faith, and in her search for the truth and through a long-lasting struggle with physical pain, she had a powerful encounter with Jesus at a local church.
She shares “It’s such a beautiful security I now have in Christ. I’m never alone. Jesus shed his blood for me and for my sins. That’s enough reason for me to have joy all day and night. I saw Him with my eyes and I’m no going back. No matter what happens.”
In this online prayer and learning event you will hear about Amanda’s journey to Jesus, her heart for the lost in her own community, and suggestions of bridges of hospitality into the Muslim community in Canada.
