To Help you Pray this month for your Local Mosque Community.
Interviews with those, who after coming to North America, chose to leave Islam to follow Jesus, identified some key common factors that were fruitful in their journey.
We selected parts of testimonies of believers of Muslim background who shared how those fruitful factors played a significant role in their journey to Jesus. Let’s pray that these factors would be active in more Muslims lives!
Fruitful Factor 1 – They had an experience with a Christian Church
"When I was 18, I left Iran to study abroad. Some of my classmates happened to be Christians. I was often moved by their kind nature and good behavior...One day, I attended a church with one of my classmates. I was just curious. After I entered the church, my heart felt warm. I felt peace in my heart. I had never felt so much peace in my life before. After that, I kept asking my friends many questions about Christianity.
By God’s grace, I attended the Persian Church in my city, and I found good and loving friends there who shared the Gospel with me and patiently answered all my questions. I learned from my friends that God is love, and that He loved us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die for us, save us from our sins and give us eternal life. My friends read the Bible with me and shared with me about God’s love and His plan for my salvation."

Prayer Items:
Many churches offer programs for the community like ESL classes, Free Stores, Mom’s groups, etc.
- Pray that many Muslims would access these services and opportunities, overcoming the strangeness of entering a church building and discovering the welcome they will find there.
- Pray that more churches would offer services that would meet the needs of their Muslim neighbors, building a bridge into these communities.
- Pray for your church to be ready to serve their Muslim neighbors.
