In the March 2022 issue of LMT Network Life, we introduced the third branch within our members’ LMT Connect Portal: Membership Directory. The Directory is a complete listing of everyone who has become a member of LMT. You can find other members, follow other members, send a friend request, and send a direct message to anyone in this directory. In addition, each member has their own profile within the directory which they can personalize. Members may also indicate their location to make it easier to identify and connect with other members.
In previous issues, we explained that there are four main branches within the LMT Connect Portal: 1) Member Directory, 2) Circle Hubs, 3) Resources; and 4) Questions & Answers. This month, we are introducing the fourth branch within the LMT Connect Portal: Questions & Answers. In Questions & Answers, members have access to a number of general discussion forums where they can look for answers to questions they may have on specific topics. Members regularly post from their experience and reference helpful information for other members. Some of the forums include (but are not limited to):
- LMT Network FAQ’s (e.g., Who can I contact regarding questions about LMT?)
- Muslim Objections (e.g., Where did Jesus say, “I am God”?)
- Practical Concerns/ Etiquette (e.g., Should I bring a gift when I visit my Muslim friend?)
- How to Start Conversations (e.g., Tell me about your work/ family / studies.)
In addition, members can access the other branches (Circle Hubs, Membership Directory, and Curated Resource Library) to go deeper into their search for answers, share their knowledge with others, and ask important questions.
Our membership is steadily growing, and we hope that you will consider signing up so that you too can CONNECT with others that share the same desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Muslims across our nation.
