As the news continues to bring reports of turmoil and calamity in the Middle East we see the turmoil there impacting people here in our nation as well.
Lets join together in united prayer:
- Pray for the church in Canada to not turn against Muslims in our community.
- Pray for Christ-followers to serve as peacemakers in our country.
- Pray against both Islamophobia and Antisemitism in Canada. Pray that both Jewish and Muslim communities would encounter Christ-followers who will lovingly point them to the source of hope within us--with gentleness and respect.
- Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ from a Muslim background to be filled with the Holy Spirit to enable them to be the fragrance of Jesus Christ in the midst of an upset and unsettled community.
- Pray that Jesus would reveal himself in dreams and visions to many during these days—that many would be disrupted in their worldview and begin to seek real Truth found only in Jesus Christ.
- Pray for those who mourn the loss of family in this conflict to find and receive comfort in Jesus Christ.
- Pray that God’s Kingdom would come, and His will be done here in Canada, even as it is in heaven.
