Something incredible is happening within the Muslim world. Muslims abroad and in Canada are confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in an unprecedented way. "There are nine geo-cultural 'rooms' in the 'House of Islam,' and the Wind of God's Spirit is blowing through every one of them" (David Garrison, author of ‘A Wind in the House of Islam’).

Since September of last year we have been exploring the presence of people from the ‘9 rooms’ in Canada—where they are, who’s ministering among them, and what we can learn as we engage with them. This month we will feature the PERSIAN room.

Come hear from brother N who will share about how it was to be brought up in a Muslim-majority country, his journey to Canada later in his life, and how God used him to launch our prayer initiative ‘Loving a Mosque Community Together’ among churches in British Columbia many years ago. Issam Khoury

Issam and Abla have served Christ while living in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, England, and Canada. They have had a fruitful ministry of evangelism, follow-up, and discipleship for over 50 years. Their influence has impacted the lives of hundreds by winning people to Christ and discipling them to be laborers themselves. Issam and Abla moved to Canada in 2008 after living and ministering in Amman, Jordan for 32 years. They now live in Halifax ministering to Syrian and Arab refugees, newcomers, and immigrants in their community. Issam will share about principles and strategies they use to share the gospel with their Muslim friends.

Come hear the powerful testimonies of Dany and Christina, born and raised in Egypt as Muslims, and how they met Jesus and experienced His love, forgiveness, and salvation. You will be inspired by their love and commitment to God's kingdom and desire to see many more Muslims leaving darkness into Jesus' marvelous light!
